When quoting an iPad repair, we often request that customers leave the device with us for a few hours, if not overnight. There are a few reasons for that. The first is that removing the screen can take a bit of time if it is badly broken. The second reason is that we properly clean the frame so that the new adhesive adheres well to it. Anyone who is returning your device in an hour or less is not performing this step. This results in a poor quality repair. Furthermore, once the repair is completed, we leave the device in clamps for at least a few hours. This gives the the adhesive time to properly set, and makes for a good, quality repair.
